The Q6 processor card offers the following key features:

• Builds on extensive heritage from flight-proven Q-card family

• Xilinx Spartan 6, including one or more soft CPUs and optional FPUs

• Memory: 2x 128Mbytes LPDDR RAM, 2x 2Gbytes MicroSD

• Power: typ. 1W @ 3.3V to 5.5V

• Interfaces included: Ethernet, serial, analog and digital I/O, JTAG

The Q6 can be used as a stand-alone processor card, or in a "Q-Stack" with one or more daughtercards for end applications. Xiphos offers the following standard daughtercards for the Q6:

Q6-Power Card: The Q6-Power Card is designed to support additional power conditioning features for the Q6, and to provide CAN, Ethernet and SpaceWire interfaces in addition to interfaces already included on the Q6 itself.

Q6-UIM: The Q6 - USB / FireWire / Serial Interface Module (UIM) provides two (2) USB interfaces, two (2) RS-232/422/485 interfaces, and one (1) FireWire interface, in addition to interfaces already included on the Q6 itself.

Q6-AIM: The Q6 - Analog and Digital I/O Module (AIM) provides extensive additional analog and digital I/O capability, in addition to interfaces already included on the Q6 itself.

Q6-MDM: The Q6 - Motor Drive Module (MDM) provides capability for control of specific motor drives. In its standard configuration, the each Q6 stack can support up to 3 MDMs, although these can be multiplexed for certain applications. 

Each of the Q6, Power Card, AIM, UIM and MDM can be provided with or without standard enclosures.
